A collection of 20 key cast and crew contact sheets from the production of Tim Burton's Batman. These contact sheets were shot by legendary still photographer Murray Close, whose images from the productions of such films as The Dark Crystal, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Shining, Jurassic Park, and Mission: Impossible - as well as dozens of others - are among the most recognizable and commonly distributed in world cinema.

Shot in black-and-white on 35mm Kodak TMY 5053 stock, the set depicts several key characters, sets, and sequences, including Bruce Wayne aka Batman's (Michael Keaton) battles with Jack Napier aka Joker (Jack Nicholson) in Napier's helicopter and at the Gotham 200th Anniversary parade; Commissioner Gordon (Pat Hingle) and the Gotham City Police Department; Wayne with Vicki Vale (Kim Basinger) at her apartment; and Alexander Knox (Robert Wuhl) in Gotham Square. Also pictured are director Burton on the Gotham Cathedral set and several behind-the-scenes images of various crew members and the Axis Chemicals set. Each shot is hand-numbered in white, while several images are hand-marked with red "X"s, checkmarks, and circles by production.
