Joker's (Jack Nicholson) handkerchief from Tim Burton's superhero film Batman. The Joker wore a handkerchief tucked into the breast pocket of his jacket during a summit with Gotham City's crime lords, and when he approached Vicki Vale (Kim Basinger) at the Gotham Museum of Art. He notably used the handkerchief to wipe his brow after killing Antoine Rotelli (Edwin Craig), removing make-up to reveal his white-coloured complexion underneath.

Created by Academy Award®-nominated costume designer Bob Ringwood, the Joker's costumes were designed to express the character's mindset, and Ringwood used vibrant colours to represent his descent into madness. The handkerchief is made from green-coloured silk and still features remnants of make-up. It exhibits minimal wear, with some signs of creasing. Dimensions (unfolded): 42 cm x 40 cm (16½" x 15¾")
