Vicki Vale's (Kim Basinger) screen-and photo-matched white dress from Tim Burton's Batman. Photojournalist Vale wore her dress to Bruce Wayne's (Michael Keaton) fundraiser at his mansion Wayne Manor, where Wayne started to develop an infatuation with her. The creasing pattern on the bust of the dress photo-matches to a promotional still. It also screen- and photo-matches to when Vicki met with Bruce in his artifact display room.

Costume Designer Bob Ringwood was nominated for three awards for Best Costume Designs including a Saturn Award® and a BAFTA Film Award®. Kim Basinger was nominated for a Saturn Award® for Best Supporting Actress and a Jupiter Award® for Best International Actress.

This lot consists of an off-white polyester and tulle The Chelsea Design Co. dress (Size 12) with floral sculpted ruffles. The dress exhibits a yellow stain on the front bottom right corner of the skirt.
