A full-size Batwing missile from Tim Burton's Batman. Batman (Michael Keaton) fired missiles from his Batwing air combat vehicle while he stopped the Joker's (Jack Nicholson) deadly parade. Production built a full-size section of the Batwing for insert shots of the missiles first deploying. The full-size Batwing section likely included full-size missiles, like this one, as they are right next to the cockpit.

The design of the Batwing is considered one of the most successful in any Batman film. Its design is credited to director Burton, production designer Anton Furst, and concept artist Julian Caldow.

This lot consists of one missile. Composed of black metal, this missile features an elongated hollow cylinder with a red-tipped, finned warhead. It exhibits chipped paint and nicks. Dimensions: 59 cm x 7 cm x 7 cm (23.25" x 2.75" x 2.75")
