Johnny Boz's (Bill Cable) death certificate, murder memorandum, and autopsy report from Paul Verhoeven's Basic Instinct. After rock star Johnny Boz was stabbed to death with an all-metal ice pick, the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) conducted an autopsy and assigned Lieutenant Phillip Walker (Denis Arndt) and detectives Nick Curran (Michael Douglas) and Sam Andrews (Bruce A. Young) to investigate.
This lot of custom-printed black-and-white documents originates from Planet Hollywood. The "Certificate of Death" is dated "12/11/91," labeled for "John Boz," and includes notes about the death such as "Sixteen stab wounds to the chest and neck" and "No prints on the ice pick, either, it's available at any K-Mart." The "Intra-Departmental Memorandum" is dated "12/12/91," addressed from "Andrews" to "Lt. Walker" with the subject line "Homicide" and suspect name "Catherine Trammel" [sp]. The "Request for Laboratory Examination" is printed on San Francisco Police Department letterhead, dated "12/11/91," and includes notes regarding Boz and Tramell, such as "There were minute quantities on his lips and penis" and "Marvin and Elaine Tramell, killed in a boating accident."
