This amazing example featuring Robert McGinnis's artwork has been folded and exhibits pinholes as well as some signs of fold wear. There is minimal sporadic edge wear, a 3-inch tear in the image area, and a few small stains along the side borders. Additionally, there is light ink ghosting in part of the lower credits field, which is a result of the upper portion of the poster during printing and folding. Overall, this unrestored piece is in very nice condition.

"Barbarella" is a "swinging sixties" Dystopian sci-fi fantasy adventure directed by Roger Vadim and adapted from the French comic series by Jean-Claude Forest. Jane Fonda stars as the titular character, a space-traveling emissary of the United Earth government tasked with locating the missing scientist Durand Durand, who has developed a weapon capable of annihilating humanity. The film also features John Phillip Law, Anita Pallenberg, Milo O'Shea, Marcel Marceau, Claude Dauphin, David Hemmings, and Ugo Tognazzi. The opening credit sequence, where Barbarella appears to float inside her spaceship, was created by having Jane Fonda lie on a large sheet of Plexiglas positioned above an image of the spacecraft. Filmed from overhead, this setup gave the impression of weightlessness. The film's elusive scientist, Durand Durand, served as the inspiration for the name of the 1980s new wave band Duran Duran while David Gilmour, guitarist of Pink Floyd, was one of the session musicians who performed the movie's original score.
