A hand-painted animation cel of the DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future: The Animated Series. Set after the events of the film trilogy, the animated series followed the continued time-traveling adventures of the Brown family and notably featured Bill Nye in his first nationally broadcast television series role as Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown's (Christopher Lloyd) assistant in short live-action segments.

This lot consists of a clear acetate cel featuring the hand-painted image of the DeLorean time machine with the tops of brothers Jules (Josh Keaton) and Verne Brown's (Troy Davidson) heads peeking out of the sides. It is hole-punched along the bottom edge and hand-numbered in black ink. It exhibits minor discoloration and some scuffing from use and age. Dimensions: 12.5" x 10.5" (31.75 cm x 26.75 cm)
