Printed and hand-illustrated Robert U. Taylor storyboards for Back to the Future: The Ride at Universal Orlando theme park. Based on the Back to the Future films, the ride serves as a mini-sequel to Back to the Future Part III.
This lot comes from the collection of special photographic effects artist Douglas Trumbull. Created by production designer and art director Robert U. Taylor, also known as Bob Taylor, this lot consists of a manila folder labeled "Storyboards - Old" and marked "Storyboards Bob Taylor Originals Aug 89 Beginning Hill Valley to Glacier Field to End (Omitting Final Volcano Funnel Drop) Complete" with nine pages of storyboards hand-illustrated in pencil, ink, and marker with some printed elements adhered with tape and handwritten pencil notes along the side. This lot exhibits discoloration, stains, and minor loss of adhesions to the sections.
