An SFX xenomorph mask from Greg and Colin Strause's sci-fi horror film AVPR: Aliens vs Predator - Requiem. The xenomorphs engaged in battle with Predators in Gunnison, Colorado. The aliens were brought to life with a combination of live-action performers, puppetry, and visual effects.

This mask is constructed from foam latex and resin around a skull cap to facilitate wear, with zips and poppers around the neck where it is designed to connect to the rest of the costume. A tube and wiring connected to the mask were used to produce a salivating effect for effects inserts, and to open and close the jaw. The item comes mounted on a head-and-shoulders bust. The foam latex is crumbling slightly in places due to its age. Dimensions: 90 cm x 31 cm x 61 cm (35.5" x 12.25" x 24")
