A life-size skinned Predator body from the 2007 sci-fi action film Alien vs. Predator: Requiem. In a deleted scene of the film, the murderous Predalien – born from the unholy union of a Facehugger Xenomorph and the Predator known as Scar (Ian Whyte) – hunts down and flays the crew of a crash-landed Yautja ship.
This body is composed primarily of hand-painted green, yellow, pink, and blue foam rubber molded onto a movable urethane armature and aggressively distressed to appear skinned with blades. Several layers of rubber on the face, torso, and legs dangle off the body, including faux disemboweled organs from a production-made hole in the stomach. The body features hand-applied resin eyes, tusks, fingernails, and sharp teeth. Stainless steel wire used for suspending the killed Predator upside-down is wrapped around the ankles. This Predator also features a full head of signature black Yautja dreadlocks, but is otherwise rendered purposefully unidentifiable by its mangled face and flesh.
This finely-detailed, vein-covered body harks back to the skinned victims of the Jungle Hunter first seen in the Schwarzenegger classic Predator. While rubber is peeling throughout due to production use, this piece remains in excellent condition overall.
