This lot will be sold on Wednesday August 26th (day 1 of the auction.) Lots 1-433 will be sold on day 1 (lots 434-870 will be sold on day 2). The auction will begin at 10:00AM PDT. A xenomorph head maquette from the production of Paul W.S. Anderson's sci-fi action film AVP: Alien vs Predator. Yautja Predators continued their thousand-year hunt of the xenomorphs in a pyramid buried underneath Antarctica.

This hand-sculpted, unpainted gray resin xenomorph head maquette was designed and fabricated by Academy Award-winning special effects group Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc. (ADI), finished with a large brown clay fixture on top, and mounted with a metal pipe to a resin display base. The head is in good overall condition with visible signs of wear throughout, including cracked and loose clay bits and a bend in the pipe. Dimensions: 10 1/4" x 9" x 5 1/2" (26 cm x 22.75 cm x 14 cm)
