A light-up security control panel from James Cameron's epic sci-fi adventure Avatar. Control screens were fitted throughout the RDA facility on Pandora. The security-related graphics were printed on acetate so the panel could be used for distance shots or CGI overlays. It is presented in a custom display screen comprised of two thick, curved, transparent plastic panels illuminated by an electroluminescent sheet taped behind the printed acetate. A wire at the back of the display connects to a power supply which operates the lighting. Dimensions: 36.25" x 0.75" x 23.25" (92 cm x 2 cm x 59 cm)
