Jake Sully's (Sam Worthington) AVR-30 machine gun with replica components from James Cameron's Avatar. Jake, as an avatar, used his AVR-30 while stationed as a door gunman in Trudy Chacon's (Michelle Rodriguez) Aerospatiale SA-2 Samson. Later, Jake took the gun from the aircraft as part of his guard detail with the scientists and used the machine gun against a Thanator when he was separated from the group. Machine guns like this were mounted to the Aerospatiale SA-2 Samsons and were larger, as well as heavier, than the smaller guns carried by the humans on Pandora.

Avatar won 91 awards, including three Oscar Awards® for Best Achievement in Cinematography, Best Achievement in Visual Effects, and Best Achievement in Art Direction.

This lot consists of one oversized gun made of aluminium that was dressed around a real M60 machine gun that fired blanks. After production, this case has been rebuilt around a replica airsoft M60. It is accompanied by a replica ammo drum that attaches to the weapon's left side. Some elements of the airsoft M60 are visible such as the charging handle and receiver, and the front site. The replica airsoft contains electronics, though their functionality remains untested. This lot exhibits chipped paint and scuffing to the metal.
