This is the Dragon Gunship Navigator’s helmet from James Cameron’s 2009 Sci-Fi epic Avatar. The helmet can be seen worn in the film during the climactic assault on the Tree of Souls. This particular helmet can be screen matched to this scene in which the navigator (Jacob Tomuri) announces the radar has picked something up in his conversation with Col. Quaritch (Stephen Lang) just before the final battle begins.

The helmet is made of a lightweight plastic shell painted Army green. Attached to the interior is a set of earphones which cover the ear completely and have a long partially-wrapped connector cord hanging from the rear of the helmet. The helmet’s exterior features a clear visor which can be easily raised or lowered freely, as well as an adjustable boom style microphone mounted onto the left side.

Additionally, the navigator’s helmet features and adjustable black Velcro chin strap and a piece of tape from the production that reads: “Jacob #2, Kevin”. The helmet features wear, such as light scratching to the paint, due to production use but remains in overall good condition.
