Hi-Hatz's (Jumayn Hunter) mangled face made for and used in the production of Joe Cornish's 2011 sci-fi action comedy Attack the Block.

This head was made for the production and features in the scene where the psychopathic Hi-Hatz finally meets his very grizzly end. This head would have been incorporated with the use of CGI to create what we see during the scene, when the gang go back to the weed room for safety and find Hi-Hatz is waiting for them. It is at this point that the alien creatures attack through the window, jumping on Hi-Hatz and tearing at his face.

The head and shoulders are made of latex rubber and have been moulded to show the collar bones, eyes, nose and many other features. The highly detailed jawless part of the face has been painted in varying shades of red which is very prominent in the film and adds to the overall gory effects. His hair is only partially covering the head as this would have been covered with his hat. There are also varying tubes underneath which would have been used by the special effects department to make the features move or to pump fake blood through the wounds.

This gruesome piece exhibits some wear from production use, including a part of the shoulder being missing which is due to use and movement on set. However, this piece is in overall extremely good condition.
