At the Earth's Core was the second in a series of sci-fi/fantasy B-movies directed by Kevin Connor and starred the prolific American actor Doug McClure. The series began with The Land That Time Forgot in 1975 and included The People That Time Forgot (1977) and Warlords of Atlantis (1978). The series of posters created for these films are considered some of the best fantasy artwork of the genre. This lot is a piece of original painted artwork on an illustration board signed 'CHANTRELL' by artist Tom Chantrell with elements of overlay added for composition. Initially created for the UK Quad, this design was also adapted for UK One-Sheet.
