An Assassin’s short rubber sword from Justin Kurzel’s 2016 action sci-fi film Assassin’s Creed. Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) explores the memories of his ancestor Aguilar de Nerha and gains the skills of a Master Assassin, before taking on the secret Templar society.

Short swords were wielded by one of the assassins in the first scenes featuring Aguilar (Fassbender), and they wore a pair of these swords on their backs during Aguilar’s ceremony as well. The sword is rubber, most likely made for the fight scene, and features an ornate curved handle and blade. It is painted grey and a dull bronze, it shows dirt throughout from use on set but remains in an otherwise very good condition.
