Nathan's (Callum Turner) cast in crossbow wristblade from Justin Kurzel's video game adaptation Assassin's Creed.
When Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) is submitted to an experiment involving the Animus, a machine that has been developed to relive genetic memories, he soon discovers he is a descendant of the mysterious society, the Assassins. Experiencing the adventures of his ancestor Aguilar de Nerha, the Assassins take on the tyrannical Templars and search for the relic that is, the 'Apple of Eden'.
Nathan wore his crossbow wristblade whilst battling guards in the Abstergo facility, alongside Cal Lynch (Michael Fassbender) and the remaining assassin inmates. This weapon would have been used for scenes when a functioning version of the wrist blade was not required.
The weapon is made from rubber, finished in faux-silver to create the appearance of metal, and decorated with ornate cast-in patterns running down both sides. Two resin crossbow arms feature on the front, painted to replicate the appearance of worked ivory. The arms are fixed in place and additional decoration has been applied.
Distressed for use in production, the crossbow wristblade remains in very good condition.
Materials: Rubber, Resin, Ferrous Metals.
