A stunt smoke bomb from the Justin Kurzel adventure film Assassin’s Creed. When Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) is submitted to an experiment involving the Animus, a machine that has been developed to relive genetic memories, he soon discovers he is a descendant of the mysterious society, the Assassins. Experiencing the adventures of his ancestor Aguilar de Nerha, the Assassins take on the tyrannical Templars and search for the relic that is, the ‘Apple of Eden’.
This style of smoke bomb and others like it were part of Maria’s (Ariane Labed) costume and would have been used for stunt scenes. The small sphere-shaped smoke bomb is made from a dark red rubber that has been painted with black detailing and has a texture making it look like it is made from leather. The top of the stunt smoke bomb has a strand of cord has been attached at the top acting as a ‘fuse’.

Displaying small holes to the rubber, the smoke bomb remains in very good condition.
