Aguilar's (Michael Fassbender) rubber wrist blade casings from Justin Kurzel’s adventure film Assassin’s Creed.
When Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) is submitted to an experiment involving the Animus, a machine that has been developed to relive genetic memories, he soon discovers he is a descendant of the mysterious society, the Assassins. Experiencing the adventures of his ancestor Aguilar de Nerha, the Assassins take on the tyrannical Templars and search for the relic that is, the ‘Apple of Eden’.
This style of wrist blade sheath was worn by Aguilar throughout the film, most noticeably when Callum is hooked into the Animus, with blades projecting out of the wrist casings on both wrists. Hidden wrist blades were the signature weapon used by members within the Assassin Brotherhood. These blade sheaths are made from hard rubber and have no actual blades inside. The front of the blade cover is intricately decorated with patterns and pieces made from resin and have been hand painted with lots of detail then given a weathered and aged look. The back of the wrist pieces say ‘soft left’ on one and ‘soft right’ on the other in black handwritten pen.
The wrist blade sheaths display signs of production use including pieces of glue and marks to the paint work, however, the item remains in very good production-used condition.
Materials: Resin, Rubber.
