Verdell's (Jill the Dog) collar and leash from James L. Brooks' As Good As It Gets. Melvin Udall (Jack Nicholson) was strong-armed into caring for neighbor Simon Bishop's (Greg Kinnear) pet Brussels Griffon, Verdell - including walking him, a hard feat given Melvin's struggle with obsessive-compulsive disorder - after Simon was attacked and hospitalized. The roles earned Nicholson his record-setting third Academy Award® and Kinnear's first Academy Award® nomination.

This lot consists of a brown leather leash with a metal clip and a multicolor fabric collar. The collar's interior exhibits fraying from wear. Dimensions: (largest) 40" x 1" x 1" (101.75 cm x 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm)
