A Miniature Deadite Puppet used in the Sam Raimi cult classic horror film, Army of Darkness. In the film, Ash (Bruce Campbell) is transported back to the Middle Ages, where he must battle an army of the undead if he is to reclaim the Necronomicon and return home.
This particular skeleton is made from resin and has a number of flexible joints so that it may be placed in various positions. During filming, the animators would have to adjust each position frame at a time to bring it to life on screen. Due to production use and age, the hinge at the waist is visible due to a small piece of the skeleton that is missing.
This Deadite comes on a black plastic base, which it is screwed into by its feet. It measures 8" x 4.5" x 14.5" 20cm x 12cm x 37cm) and rests on a stand that is 6.5" x 5" x 3" (17cm x 13cm x 8cm) and is in good condition.
