A collection of Wire Straws from Michael Bay's 1998 action film, Armageddon. After discovering that an asteroid is on a path to strike Earth in less than a month, N.A.S.A. recruits a misfit team of deep core drillers to save the planet. These wire straws were used to help determine who will stay behind on the asteroid to detonate the bomb.
This collection includes six wires, that have each been labeled with the name of the character who pulled it. The purple wire is labeled AJ (Ben Affleck), green for Chick (Will Patton), yellow for Sharp (William Fichtner), blue for Lev (Peter Stormare), silver for Bear (Michael Clarke Duncan), and teal for Harry (Bruce Willis). Each wire is roughly the same length, except for the purple wire, which is shorter by roughly 1”.
These wires feature some wear from production use, including scratches in the plastic coating, but remain in overall good condition.
