A collection of bags and tools from Ron Howard's Apollo 13. Jim Lovell (Tom Hanks) kept a photo of his wife Marilyn Lovell (Kathleen Quinlan) in his home office as he prepared for the Apollo 13 mission. Team members at NASA tried to create a Rube Goldberg device based on the materials the crew had on the spaceship to fix the carbon dioxide filters.

This lot consists of a white canvas tube covering with a fastening strip seam; a yellow vinyl tool kit bag with white vinyl pockets and nylon straps; a white vinyl and metal personal hygiene kit bag; a white vinyl bag; a yellow vinyl and metal urine transfer system bag filled with an unknown liquid; one metal lens labeled "SXT Mirror Housing Assy" and etched "01386910100 s/n 103"; an unknown metal tool; and a photo of Marilyn marked with a personal message dated 1968 in a metal frame and marked "HSG-CT 5602 TRRTA." This lot exhibits grime throughout and discoloration, as well as tarnishing on the frame. Dimensions: (largest) 42" x 28" x 1" (106.75 cm x 71.25 cm x 2.75 cm)
