Middle Eye's (Gerardo Taracena) dagger from Mel Gibson's action adventure Apocalypto. Middle Eye slit the throat of Jaguar Paw's (Rudy Youngblood) father, Flint Sky (Morris Birdyellowhead).

Simon Atherton, an armorer who worked with Gibson on Braveheart, was hired to research and provide reconstructions of Mayan weapons to maintain the accuracy of the film. This lot consists of one production-distressed resin dagger with a metal blade featuring detailing and dark engraved patterns on the hilt to resemble obsidian and wood. This lot exhibits mild discoloration and pitting. Dimensions: 11" x 2" x 2" (28 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm)

Blade was dulled after production to sell as a collectible.
