This lot will be sold on Tuesday, 1st December (day 1 of the auction.) Lots 1-463 will be sold on day 1 (lots 464-913 will be sold on day 2). The auction will begin at 2:00 pm GMT. A Playboy magazine centrefold from Francis Ford Coppola's war epic Apocalypse Now. Centrefolds were for sale at the U.S.O. show, where three Playboy Bunnies danced to entertain the war-weary troops. The next day Chef (Frederic Forrest) stuck one to a wall of the Street Gang patrol boat. The centrefold features a topless Miss May (Colleen Camp) and was made especially for the production. It was shot by Playboy photographer Mario Casilli and was later published in the magazine following the release of the film. On the reverse it features two pages of an article and a page of lewd jokes. The centrefold is folded into thirds and has minor wear from age and production use. Dimensions (open): 58 cm x 28.5 cm (22 3/4" x 11 1/4")
