Depicting a somber, brooding image of Marlon Brando, this full-bleed poster was professionally linen-backed and expertly touched up only in the black field. This scarce example is in outstanding condition.

"Apocalypse Now," directed by Francis Ford Coppola, transposes "Heart of Darkness" to the Vietnam War, following Captain Willard's mission to kill the rogue Colonel Kurtz. Its notoriously troubled production stretched over a year and was later chronicled in "Hearts of Darkness."
