An undead Jack's (Griffin Dunne) prosthetic hand from John Landis' An American Werewolf in London. Jack was killed by a werewolf before returning undead with his body decaying.

This latex hand was used in the scene towards the film's end where David (David Naughton) met undead Jack in an adult cinema in Piccadilly Circus. Dunne was required to assist with operating his character's puppet so that his dialogue could be synced with David's. This meant Dunne could not gesture, so the hand was applied to special effects assistant Joseph Ross instead. Ross then performed the gesture with the hand whilst keeping the rest of his body out of shot.

The hand itself was designed by prosthetics supremo Rick Baker, who won the first-ever Academy Award in the Best Make-up category for his work on the film. The item comes with a detailed letter from Ross. Dimensions: 28.5 cm x 17 cm (11.25" x 6.75")
