An artist's proof Giclèe print of Amy Winehouse backstage at Koko in her hometown of Camden, London in 2006 taken by photographer Scarlet Page.
Photographed in November 2006 shortly after the release of her seminal album Back To Black, Page captures Amy in the club's green room as she drinks with her band. She had a deep connection with Camden and frequently performed at various pubs and clubs in the area. This artist's proof is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm paper, labelled "AP" and signed by Page in pencil. Dimensions: 71 cm x 56 cm (28" x 22")
Scarlet Page recalls:
"This photograph was taken at KOKO in Camden, close to where Amy Winehouse lived, just as Back to Black was about to be released. She was doing promo for the album and was in great spirits- happy, joking, and in a really positive place. I had the opportunity to capture some moments with her and her band in the green room, as well as this series, which has become an important part of my collection. It was a special time, capturing Amy in her element, on the cusp of releasing an album that would go on to leave quite a legacy."
