Deryck "D" Dandridge's (Cory Hardrict)'s Mk 18 Mod 0 CQB Carbine from Clint Eastwood's 2014 war drama, American Sniper. Based on the Chris Kyle's biography, American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History, the film follows Kyle from his SEAL training through his numerous tours in Iraq. Dandridge fights alongside Chris Kyle (Bradley Cooper) throughout the film, and carried this rifle during scenes taking place between the second and fourth tours.
This rifle is cast in dense foam and features the Colt AR-15 manufacturer markings embedded in the side of the prop weapon. The prop includes numerous faux accessories cast into the weapon including an LMT rear sight, EOTech sight, foregrip, tactical flashlight, and has a side mounted AN/PEQ-15 aiming laser. The rifle also includes a nylon carrying strap.
The piece has been painted desert brown with areas that show the original black foam color. Paired with the rifle is a tag from the films armorer, which notes its use for "D" during tours 2-4.
This item shows wear from production use, but remains in overall good condition.
The violent crime reduction bill means that this particular prop can only be sold to customers who reside outside the UK. Generally speaking, it is illegal for a resident of the UK to buy this item.
