A Hotel Cortez guest book from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's American Horror Story: Hotel. The Hotel Cortez's guest book collected the signatures of guests destined to check in but never check out on the counter overseen throughout the season by Iris Holloway (Kathy Bates). In one particularly pivotal moment in the episode "Devil's Night," investigator John Lowe (Wes Bentley) read through the hotel's guest book after discovering Aileen Wuornos' (Lily Rabe) ID in her bag, leading him to a dinner party with other famous serial killers.
This cloth-covered hardcover book originates from a crew member. It is debossed with the Cortez logo and "Hotel Cortez" in gold-color foil and features two pages of handwritten names, room numbers, and dates in differing styles to give the appearance of having been signed by multiple guests. The guest book exhibits discoloration, scuffing, dented corners, and a loose spine. Dimensions: 12" x 18" x 2" (30.5 cm x 45.75 cm x 5 cm)
