Colony Layout for Operations Room on Screen Map Original Hand Drawn Production Design Artwork

Stock #125507

“Get away from her, you bitch!”

A original hand-drawn production design artwork from James Cameron’s 1986 action sci-fi film Aliens.

Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) is rescued by a deep salvage team after being in hypersleep for 57 years. The moon that the Nostromo visited has been colonized, but contact is lost. This time, colonial marines have impressive firepower, but will that be enough?

This hand drawn original design artwork shows a grid layout of the colony, and is designed to be on display within the Hadley’s Hope Operations Room. Large glass screens can be seen in the room with diagrams on them. The grid is rendered in brown ink with annotations all over. The artwork was combined with other illustrations to create the prop schematic seen in frame behind Ripley and Hicks in the Operations Room.

The artwork is drawn onto thick vellum paper and exhibits creasing all over and minor wear from use on production. Overall it remains in an excellent condition.

Materials: Paper.
