"In space no one can hear you scream". H. R. Giger's design for the xenomorph in Ridley Scott's "Alien" (1979) is a pop culture phenomenon and one of cinemas most iconic images. Although the subject matter is instantly recognisable, it's interesting to see how the two artists here have differently interpreted the Alien. Grzegorz Domaradzki (Gabz) has gone for a 'Gigerish' vibe with a series of seven grey colour inks screen printed on Neenah Cool Grey paper. Originally issued in 2019 at the "I am GABZ" exhibition in New York, this limited edition of 300 has been hand-signed and numbered #68. Vance Kelly's offering has the look and feel of a more traditional movie poster with the Alien imagery dominating the rest of the cast. A layer of silver ink (only really noticeable on close inspection) overlayed into the some of the grey areas only enhances what is a spectacular looking piece. In an edition of 400 this is hand-numbered #24.24" x 36" (61 x 91.5 cm)
Additional Information: Signed & Hand-Numbered #68/300 & 24/400
