An animatronic Newborn head from Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Alien Resurrection. The Newborn was a human-xenomorph hybrid that resulted from the United Systems Military's (USM) cloning experiments and viewed Ripley 8 (Sigourney Weaver), the clone of Ellen Ripley, as its mother.

This lot, the front half of the creature's head designed to rest on its neck, consists of a highly detailed silicone skin painted yellow and gray over a fiberglass underskull with a foam layer between the two and resin teeth. Mechanisms throughout the interior are designed to control facial expressions via tubes and cables running out the back of the head. The head is mounted to a wooden stand for display. Its cables have been cut, the foam exhibits crumbling, and there is grime and other residue present. Dimensions: 27" x 20" x 16" (68.75 cm x 51 cm x 40.75)
