A copy of Swiss surrealist H.R. Giger's Necronomicon with a printed Giger autograph, as well as additional copies of his art books. Giger received an Academy Award® for his work creating the iconic xenomorphs from Ridley Scott's Alien. In 2013, he was inducted into the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame.

This lot comes from the collection of veteran model maker Dave Jones. It consists of a Necronomicon with retellings by Abdul Alhazred and a printed Giger autograph on the interior cover; a hardcover Alien design book documenting the creation of the xenomorphs; an HR Giger ARh+ book published June 1981; and a 1995 Giger-themed calendar. The ARh+ book exhibits loose pages and the Necronomicon's cover is loose. Dimensions: (largest) 12" x 16.5" x 0.5" (30.5 cm x 42 cm x 1.5 cm)
