" I ain't draft dodging. I ain't burning no flag. I ain't running to Canada. I'm staying right here. You want to send me to jail? Fine, you go right ahead. I've been in jail for 400 years. I could be there for 4 or 5 more, but I ain't going no 10,000 miles to help murder and kill other poor people."
A revised script from the production of Michael Mann's 2001 biopic drama Ali.
A biography of sports legend Muhammad Ali (Will Smith), focusing on his triumphs and controversies between 1964 and 1974.
This script is 134 pages long and is printed on different coloured pieces of paper, each colour denoting a different stage in the re-drafting process. The first page is missing and the script is held together with metal fasteners. Some of the pages have annotations and other notes.
The pages have wear from production use and age, including minor tearing, folds and creasing. The metal fastener has broken and is partially loose. Overall it remains in a good, production-used condition.
