A cast reference photo binder from the production of Michael Mann’s 2001 biopic drama Ali.

A biography of sports legend Muhammad Ali, focusing on his triumphs and controversies between 1964 and 1974.

Reference binders were used by the production crew to ensure historical accuracy and continuity when it came to cast, makeup and costumes. The binder shows printed photos of the main cast and original handwritten production notes and information about necessary changes.

The binder shows minimal wear from production use. The paper has been well protected in the binder, however, storage over time has warped the pages slightly. The item remains in an otherwise very good condition.
