A high ranking Macedonian soldier’s helmet used in the Colin Farrell, Anthony Hopkins and Angelina Jolie movie Alexander. This plumed helmet was worn by one of the more respected Macedonian soldiers in during the movie, most clearly in the early scenes when the Greek and Macedonian soldiers battle against the Persian army. It is made from hard rubber painted bronze and curves over at the tip to feature a plume and ponytail of faux horse hair, and hanging from leather either side are two guards, each featuring a proud Griffin sat ready to attack. It has leather thong that ties under the chin to keep it secure during the epic battle sequences and is in a production worn and distressed condition. A recognisable piece of armour from the epic movie.
