An original multi-layer production cel on a hand-painted production background and matching production drawings featuring Aladdin and Princess Jasmine from Walt Disney's television series Aladdin.

Disney's television animation output was sometimes considered a step down from the prestige of its theatrical features by critics. Yet these series are now recognised as the studio's final era of hand-painted production art. Unlike the Aladdin feature film, which was digitally coloured, this cel setup is a rare example of traditional painted cels actually used in the filming process.

With hindsight, pieces like this mark the final chapter of an era, making them ever more relevant to collectors who value Disney's legacy of hand-crafted animation.

This standout key setup consists of Aladdin (labelled "A20") and Princess Jasmine (labelled "J30") in matching hand-painted cel layers, paired with their original production drawings and a hand-painted production background which is marked "083" and "B6306" in red ink. It captures both leads in a moment of emotional clarity, rendered with warmth, expression, and clean character linework. The two accompanying graphite drawings include frame range notations. The original Walt Disney Television Animation seal on the cel and drawings adds prestige and confirms its route to market.
