Rawhide's (Clancy Brown) Handheld Video Monitor from W.D. Richter's sci-fi adventure The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension. Rawhide can be seen handling this device early in the film before Buckaroo Banzai drives through the mountain. This piece is a modified Sony Watchman that has the 2" screen removed from the primary unit and wired to operate on a separate device. The device is powered by four AA batteries and can be turned on however the screen only displays static.
This piece shows some wear due to production use and age, and currently has a broken antennae and a small break in the wiring cover that connects the two units (see photos). This prop remains in overall fair used condition.
