Ace Ventura's (Jim Carrey) Hero Shark Attack Costume worn in Tom Shadyac's 1994 comedy, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Ace can be seen wearing this ensemble during a scene in Melissa's (Courteney Cox) apartment after his encounter with a shark at Ron Camp's party. The outfit consists of a Reiss brand Hawaiian style button up shirt, which features a colorful Florida state pattern featuring trees, flowers and multiple illustrated beach activities. The outfit also includes a pair of torn Greg Peters black trousers. These pants have been production distressed to imitate damage from the shark. Both the pants and shirt display production markings, with 'Ace CH.4' is clearly written around the inside waist of the pants.
The shirt includes a tag indicating it is a size large, while the pants are a size 36. Aside from intentional production wear, this item remains in good worn condition.
