A gold disc award posthumously presented to the late Bon Scott to commemorate the sale of more than 500,000 copies of AC/DC's fourth studio album, Let There Be Rock, released in March 1977. The international cover artwork for this album was the first to feature the band's now-famous logo.

The award features a large gold-coloured disc with a plaque which states that it is a certified R.I.A.A (Recording Industry Association of America) sales award. Below the plaque is a CD, a printed image of the album cover and a "Gold Sales Award" labelled cassette. The award comes mounted under glass and presented in a black-coloured wooden frame. There are some minor marks on the glass. Dimensions: 54 cm x 43.75 cm x 1.75 cm (21.25" x 17.25" x 0.75")
