David Kaplan's (Jesse Eisenberg) complete first day costume from Eisenberg's A Real Pain. David wore his signature costume on the first day of the Jewish heritage tour of Poland he and his cousin Benji (Kieran Culkin) embarked on to honor their late grandmother.

This costume originated from the collection of the film's writer, director, producer, and star, Jesse Eisenberg. A Real Pain was among the most acclaimed films of 2024, with Eisenberg receiving an Academy Award® nomination for Best Original Screenplay (which he based on his own real-world experiences) and co-star Culkin winning the Oscar® for Best Supporting Actor.

The costume consists of a blue MNG button-down shirt; a gray undershirt with matching pants; blue New Balance 515 sneakers; a red University of Indiana baseball cap; wire-rimmed Kaibosh Eyewear glasses with a PNT glasses case; a gray Jansport backpack; and a red duffle bag. The set exhibits fraying to the cap and stains on the glasses from production wear. Dimensions: (largest) 18" x 18" x 6" (45.75 cm x 45.75 cm x 15.25 cm)

Proceeds from the sale of this lot benefit families impacted by the Eaton Fire.

Additional Provenance: Video Letter of Authenticity from Jesse Eisenberg.
