A light up green net weight from Steven Spielberg's sci-fi film A.I. Artificial Intelligence.

In the late 22nd century, a Mecha child named David (Haley Joel Osment) embarks on a quest to become 'real' so he can win the affection of his human mother. Teddy is a robotic teddy bear who accompanies David on his journey.

The green versions of these weights can be clearly seen in the film, as part of the nets fired at the rogue Mechas. This occurs when they are being rounded up for the 'flesh fair.' The technology inside the weights enabled the hunters to deactivate them at the same time.

The net weight is made from a metal frame and has been covered in silicone. This particular version features a metal rod at one end, with a small karabiner and a flat silicone cover at the other end. The item contains LED'S inside creating a bright green colour when turned on, and is fully functioning. A pin should be used and inserted into a hole on the bottom side to turn the net weight on.

There is minor damage to the silicone and the net weight shows minor wear from production use. The piece remains in very good condition.
