A suit worn in the production of the David Cronenberg crime thriller A History of Violence. When an armed robbery ends with diner owner Tom Stall (Viggo Mortensen) gunning down the two assailants, he is hailed as a local hero. However, his hidden past as a former gangster, trying to reform and escape his mob past, soon catches up.
This suit was worn by scarred gangster Carl Fogarty (Ed Harris), who heads to Millbrook to “connect” with the ex-mob hitman. The suit is comprised of a stylish bespoke black suit with a single-breasted jacket with a white shirt and a black tie with a repeating square pattern. Displaying only minor wear from use, the suit remains in excellent condition.
