Alex's (Malcolm McDowell) cane from Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange. Alex carried his signature cane with him throughout the first part of the film as he sought out "ultra-violent" activities with his gang of "droogs." He wielded it as a symbol of his power, keeping his gang in line with physical violence, and using it as a weapon against his victims. Multiple styles of cane were used by Alex in the film, including some with a textured uneven shaft, one with a knife handle that pulled out of the body, and this variant, which looks closest to the one seen when Droogs are walking near the water and in part of the "Singin' in the Rain" attack scene.

Added to the United States' film registry in 2020, Kubrick's film remains one of the landmarks in the relaxation of control on cinema since the introduction of the Motion Picture Production Code set in the 1930s. It carries a history of being banned in various countries after its release, even after Kubrick replaced scenes to obtain an "R" rating for its re-release. It has been nominated for four Academy Awards®, seven BAFTA® awards, and three Golden Globe® awards.

This solid wooden cane originated from the collection of title designer Pablo Ferro. It features a lacquered topcoat and a burl handle. It exhibits chipped wood and splintering, most notably at the bottom. Dimensions: 37.25" x 2.25" x 1.75" (94.75 cm x 5.75 cm x 4.5 cm)
