6th Day, The

Costume and Art Collection

Stock #4375

A collection of costumes and artwork used in the production of Roger Spottiswoode’s sci-fi thriller The 6th Day. Cloned using futuristic technology, charter pilot Adam Gibson (Arnold Schwarzenegger) soon finds himself embroiled in a massive corporate cover-up with agents chasing him at every turn.

The costumes in the set are seen in various scenes in the film. This style of security jacket is seen when Adam sneaks Talia’s (Sarah Wynter) thumb into Replacement Technologies and finds Dr. Griffin Weir (Robert Duvall). The ‘Road Runners’ costumes in this set are seen at the beginning of the film during an American football game. The jumper and others like it is worn by a fan in the crowd and the waterproof coat and others like it are worn by a member of coaching staff.

The costumes consist of a dark blue Weir Laboratory security guard blazer with a Weir Labs patch with the text ‘security’ on the left breast pocket (size 44T), a black waterproof coat with the ‘Road Runners’ logo embroidered in yellow (size Medium) and a black Road Runners sweater worn by a fan in the crowd (size XL). The set also includes five assorted small patches for the Airport staff, the Weirs Labs staff and the police. Each patch is a different shape and features various embroidered logos and text.

The concept artwork is for the Foosh gun, the only gun used in the film and is used by several characters including Adam Gibson. Printed on two white A4 pages, the artwork shows different views of the weapon highlighting its shape and features.

The set features some signs of wear including fold lines in one corner and marks on the artwork, and small marks on the waterproof jacket. However, the collection remains in very good condition.
