A Spartan costume from Zack Snyder’s historical fantasy 300. Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae, in which 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valour and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against the Persian enemy.
Worn by the warriors of King Leonidas, this costume features pieces labelled for multiple actors, with the cape and greaves named to Stelios (Michael Fassbender) for stunt use during the battle. The costume is comprised of a hero fibreglass helmet, a red canvas cape with fibreglass Spartan clasp, a pair of urethane bracers, a leather codpiece and a pair of urethane greaves. The armour pieces are finished to replicate the look of worn, hammered bronze, with plenty of battle damage applied to the helmet, bracers and greaves. The cape has also been faded to give it a battle-worn look.

Well-used on the production, the costume remains in a very good condition. The cape is marked “Stelios Stunt – Stage #3.” The helmet is marked “Connelly #2.” The codpiece is marked “41 Paolo” and “Harnais”. The bracers are marked “Ryan Watson #4 Dilios” and "Paolo". The greaves are marked “Ryan Watson” and “Stelios”. The cape is supplied with an original costumiers label.
