A costume worn in the 2006 graphic novel movie adaptation 300. Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae, in which 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valour and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against the Persian enemy.
This costume is a composite featuring items worn by multiple performers, with the cape and helmet named to the patriotic young soldier Stelios (Michael Fassbender), who is slain along with his king, Leonidas (Gerard Butler), in the final battle in the pass at Thermopylae. The helmet is a close match to one seen in the final slaying of the brave 300, worn by another of Leonidas' Spartans.

The costume is composed of a rubber helmet (marked “Stelios, Tim Connelly #4”), the red Spartan cape (marked “Stelios – Stage 5 – Never Used”), a pair of hard rubber greaves (marked “Stelios – Stage 4”), a leather codpiece (marked “Yalov”) and a pair of hard rubber bracers (marked “Dilios Good, Louis Paquette”). Also included is a pair of original Myrmidon sandals from Troy to complete the costume’s aesthetic.

Well used on the production, the costume was distressed for use with plenty of fading, blood splattering and wear, but remains in an overall very good production-used condition. No sizes marked.
