Stelios' (Michael Fassbender) bloodied Spartan helmet from Zack Snyder's 300. Stelios' helmet was increasingly bloodied and battle-damaged when he and his fellow Spartans fought the Persian forces in the climactic battle of Thermopylae. The role was future two-time Academy Award® nominee Fassbender's first in a feature film.

This helmet is made of fiberglass in a classic Corinthian style with leather padding adhered to the interior cheeks. It was painted and textured to resemble worked bronze on its exterior with "Stelios" handwritten on its interior in black ink next to illegible writing scribbled out in silver-color ink. Production intentionally distressed this helmet to give the appearance of battle damage blood spattering, with multiple stages applied as the Spartans' battle with the Persians extended over several days. Also included is an 8" x 10" (20.5 cm x 25.5 cm) film still of Stelios lunging into battle. This lot exhibits some stickiness due to the SFX blood, mild discoloration on the back, and chipping. Dimensions: 11" x 8" x 10.25" (28 cm x 20 cm x 26 cm)
